HOUSE OF CONTRADICTION

A WORLD LOST

A world lost, a place and time that is lost to me.

Throughout my life, I have met and admired many woman. As such, there are some that I have written poems about in dedication to them.

Some meant something to me before, in one part of my life, others merely left a small presence as they passed by.

Regardless, these are some that gave me inspiration. Their significance may not be big or important in my life, but somehow I was compelled to write about them.

Inspiration comes in unknowingly to me. Some just gave me such inspiration. Some who meant more in my life may not even inspire me so.

The following poems are for those who has inspired me.

Hearts

Hearts a has will be,

Hearts a hasn't will be not,

Hearts a given I can see,

Hearts a spoken mine unheard.

Answer:

Hearts a spoken I can hear,

Hearts a taken mine is,

Hearts a hurting I feel,

Hearts a crying cold tears.

Beautiful Jade

Nevermore has such beauteous form existed,

Graceful as the dance of the swans.

Myths and legends tell only tales,

Encircling the heart and mind,

Enchanting fantasies; a lover's dreams.

Yet real it was as flowers bloom on dawn of spring,

Often with purple, yellow, red buds and entwining greens,

Kisses of bliss and wondrous sight,

Evermore existing this beauteous form.

Song of Wen

When velvety night sweeps across the land,

Everything and all sees the enchanting moon,

None but me sees the sight of you.

The moon shines bright in the starlit night,

Zenith in it's peak and radiant in it's glory,

Up in the heavens it's beauty unmatched,

In it's shimmering pool I see only you.

Perpetual beauty is all I see,

In all of heaven and all of earth,

No greater beauty than that of you.

Charming Beauty

Jeweled eyes sparkled like diamonds on marble walls,

Overwhelming beauty and an unrelentless strength that awes,

Every night the stars shine bright in her twinkling eyes,

A tale of heavenly angels and divine maidens,

Never once faltered, her charms and beliefs,

None greater then her heart indeed,

Essence of perfection, a beauty to behold.

Maiden of the Four Circles

Emotional barriers fall asunder at her sight and sound,

Evoking thoughts of bliss and untamed passion.

Visions of mythical beauty in silver and red,

Ode to her beauty and grace; unparalleled by all,

One glance she gave and hearts melt forever,

Never once the same without her love,

Epitome of a paragon; a maiden of Eden.

Your Beauty

Beauty is the treasure women seek,

Beauty is the treasure men yearn,

Beauty is the heart of paradise,

The essence of perfection.

But your beauty is not a treasure sought,

Nor prize yearned nor paradise's heart.

Yours is a beauty of wonder,

Dreamy yet real, perfect yet flawed,

Uncertain yet stunning,

A passion forgotten,

Yet desired by all.

Untitled

Tales of untold beauty and charm,

Everlasting to the heart and mind,

Radiant like a beacon of hope,

Idolized like a goddess of yore.
